Guest Accommodation Information

Note that I have compiled a list of places that could be booked for the weekend. Once we get our main issues figured out (if we are booking the hostel, who wants to camp, where the wedding party will stay etc.) I will provide the information for more cabin rentals and AirBnBs. Budgets can range from: Camping - $28/night with own equipment Hostel - $50-$100/night in shared accommodation Hotel - about $125-150/night *note no kitchens Private cabins - $169-$279/night for 2-4 adults; $525/night for 6-8 adults (all quite close walking distance) Air BnB's - $400-$850/night for 6-20 guests (varies) (some could be as far as a 43 min walk away)

***ALL CLAIMED*** Note that we have put deposits down for all of these cottages as they must get booked. They are right beside us/venue. 3 min walk max. Note these are NOT party places, the hosts are quite clear about that. The link above is for the fireside cabins, there are 6 cabins in total, most can fit 2 adults and range from $229-299+tax/night and all have kitchens! HI Nordegg Shunda Creek Wilderness Hostel

***UPDATE: We will not be booking this as there did not seem to be enough interest. Note that you can book your own accommodation here if you so choose. It looks really cute. Also, if you were really excited about staying here, talk to your friends (that are coming) and message me with interest*** This is a Wilderness Hostel about a 3 minute walk from our venue. We are able to rent out the entire hostel for a night or two - IF we have enough interest. There are 10 different rooms with various bed situations. 5 rooms are filled with 5 bunkbeds each. The rest are a mix of 4-6 people rooms with a mix of double, single and bunkbeds. The Hostel can host 52 people in total. Great option for the younger cousins to book! Very large common areas and kitchen AND it even has a sauna! PLEASE let me know if you are interested in staying here! I will make a group booking if there is enough interest.

Currently 3 Cabins on this property with a 4th available on Air BnB. If you wanted to stay in a group all the cabins together could fit 15-20 people. Note these are all a 11 minute walk from us/the venue. They are very close to the Cheechako Cabins. Upper Shunda Creek Campground

This is the closest campground to our venue. It can have tents or RV's and they also welcome ATV's. The website gives good information about the sites and amenities. Note its next to a cute creek. 23 minute walk to us/the venue or a 3 minute drive. There is also one RV that can be rented on site at the campground for $84/night plus the cost of a campsite.

This is a hotel located near the "town" a 5 minute drive or 43 minute walk over the highway (one of the farther options from us). No rooms have kitchens. 2024 rates – 2 guests $120 per room, under 17 stay free, over 18 = $25/per extra guest Some pet friendly rooms - $20/night extra
