10:00 am
We recommend everyone land in Rome on Oct 15th 2024 to allow for a day to yourselves and to rid yourself of any jet-lag. This will be the only night you would need to book a hotel for yourself for, as we will be organizing a shuttle to pick everyone up at a rendezvous point the morning of Oct 16th 2024. Please see our TRAVEL page for our hotel recommendations as well as general information!
11:00 am
We have booked a complimentary shuttle service from Rome to Ferentillo where our wedding is being held. The shuttle will arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport, with a pick-up time of 11:00 AM. Traffic can be especially difficult around the airport so please plan ahead with your transportation. We recommend you plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early, to ensure you have no issues locating the shuttle. Once the shuttle leaves, it will NOT return. There will NOT be another shuttle to transport you between Rome and the Abbey. The shuttle will take around 1.5 - 2 hours to reach the Abbey.
6:00 pm
There will be pizza alongside cocktails! Can't wait to see you! Please reach out to Susy or Brady with any dietary restrictions.
4:00 pm
This event is black-tie preferred. It is being held in October so please bring something suitable to keep you warm. The Abbey features original cobblestone flooring from the 1500s so maybe re-think stilettos!
Please let Susy or Brady know of any dietary restrictions.
10:00 am
As you all know, the day after the wedding is a free day for you to enjoy how you see fit. Whether you would like to hike the nearby trails to the famous waterfall - The Marmore (the highest waterfall in all Europe, artificially created by the Romans thousands of years ago), book a spa package at the Wellness Center at the Abbey, or nurse a hang-over and do nothing. That is entirely up to you! However, for those looking to see as much of Italy as they can we have taken the liberty of booking a day-tour to the world famous town of Assisi for guests to embark on. The tour includes a full guided tour of the town of Assisi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of St. Francis, and ends at a local winery to explore the vineyards and taste of Assisi. We are currently in the planning stages and will reach out to interested guests via email soon! These costs will not be covered by Brady and Susy and will be guest expenses.
11:00 am
As much as we love spending time with you all, it's time to go home! Our shuttles will be sure to return everyone to Rome in the AM, where you will all be dropped off at Rome Fiumicino Airport. This is ideal for anyone needing to catch a flight same-day, but also will function well with plenty of access to general public transport and taxi services. Reminder: Travel between the Abbey and Rome is around 1.5 - 2 hours travel time, with a leaving time scheduled for 11 - 11:30 AM. If you are leaving same-day try and choose a flight in the evening to give you more than enough time!
