Due to very limited venue capacity we're keeping our special day to very close friends & family, therefore only having those who are specifically named on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!
Thank you to the people who have asked us this. You coming to our wedding is gift enough, but, should you wish to give a gift as well, a cash gift to put towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated. We unfortunately do not have a gift register as we are traveling back to New York and will not be able to transport the items back. Plus if you have been in our apartment you will know room is limited!
The welcome drinks on Thursday will be cocktail attire (dresses/shirts and slacks). The wedding on Friday is black tie optional (long dress/tux/or dark suit)
YES! We would like phones away for the actual ceremony (it's only 30 mins, we hope you survive!) but pictures from then on are welcomed. We'd appreciate if you DONT put up pictures of us on social media until we have done so ourselves - thanks for understanding
The ceremony may be held outside (weather dependent), all other events will be held inside.
Please plan to be seated for the ceremony no later than 1.45pm
If you are only staying in Cliff at Lyons on the night of the 20th, check in will be available after the wedding ceremony. We would advise arriving to the venue ready or there are restrooms available you can change in. The hotel will be able to store your luggage until your room is ready.
The ceremony and reception will take place in Cliff at Lyons, where there will be parking available. The hotel will help in getting taxis for guests not staying on site.
GREAT question. Uber is available but extremely limited. We recommend downloading FREENOW app to help get Taxis! (pre-booking if late at night is essential)
Day 2 in an Irish wedding is typically an informal party. A way to nurse hangovers, see everyone off before their travels and enjoy a Guinness for the road
