Before travelling to Ireland there are a few things you should remember

Getting there: Many of the major US airports will fly directly to Dublin airport. The wedding location is 30 mins drive from the airport

Getting to the Venue: There is no train from Dublin airport, however the wedding venue is a 35 min taxi from Dublin airport

Passport: Your passport should be valid for the duration of your trip

Visa: You do NOT need a visa if you are a US citizen traveling to Ireland however you may need to show proof of your return flight

Return journey: Due to the special relationship between the US and Ireland if traveling home through Dublin airport you will proceed through US pre-clearance and customs in Dublin airport, this means you will arrive at your US destination as a domestic flight and not have to go through customs
