This highly recommended hotel is between the ceremony and the reception, about a 15-minute drive in each direction. The hotel is across from Marin Country Mart, a kid-friendly, open-air, modern shopping center with good restaurant options and a Saturday morning farmer's market with crafts and music and food trucks on Sunday. It is also across from the Ferry Terminal to get to San Francisco. We recommend the oysters at the Hog Island Oyster Bar or the lamb salad at Souvla (really good). A very convenient and nice option.

San Anselmo Inn

San Anselmo Inn is located in the heart of downtown San Anselmo, a small town that is surrounded by all of the beauty that Marin County has to offer. The Inn is only a short walk from the wedding venue, so a nice choice to enjoy a casual Saturday before the big event. The Reception is 30 minutes away, but this is a great location for those who want to ride over with the wedding party, as they will be staying in houses nearby. For dining in the neighborhood, high end eats at MadCap are tasty, or have a margarita and tacos at Marinitas.

University of Redlands, Marin Campus

The University of Redlands Campus has apartment options including Airbnb rentals. They are 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge, various Bay Area counties, and the world-renowned wine country. This charming and quiet neighborhood is home to families, graduate students, and working professionals. We are an easy walk to San Anselmo's downtown, with wonderful shops, cafes and restaurants to explore. It's about 20 minutes to the Golden Gate Bridge, 45 minutes to wine country, and about 30 minutes to West Marin's beautiful coastline, Point Reyes, and many beaches, including Stinson. The campus itself is open for walking and taking in the views. Additionally, Imagination Park, Natalie Green Coffin Park, and the grounds of the Robson Herrington House are all within walking distance.

Four Points by Sheraton San Rafael Marin County

The Sheraton is a good option for anyone who is on a budget. If you are, thank you for shelling out the cash to come to our wedding. This option is only 20 minutes to both venues and about 30 minutes north of San Francisco. The neighborhood is not flush with dining options or activities, but convenient to the venues. The hotel has a restaurant bar that is good for breakfast.

Acqua Hotel Mill Valley

Aqua Hotel is a good option for those that are looking for a high end boutique hotel within 30 minutes from the venues. Probably the best option for spa treatments on this list.

Mill Valley Inn

The Mill Valley Inn is another small, local option for those looking for the Northern California experience. Nestled in the small town of Mill Valley, this Inn is with close proximity to many great restaurants and bars. It is walking distance to amazing hiking trails, so bring your boots. Not the option for those who want to be close to the wedding action, as this one is going to take you 45 minutes to get to both venues. This is the best option for those that want to be surrounded by majestic redwoods, and don't care about being late. Don't worry, we don't care either.

The Lodge at Tiburon

The Lodge at Tiburon is within close proximity to many legendary bars, restaurants and cafes. You cannot go wrong with having a beer by the docks at Sam's Anchor Cafe, or Michael Mina's Bungalow Kitchen. This is another hotel near the ferry, so take the beautiful ferry ride across the bay and into San Francisco.

Cavallo Point Lodge

Cavallo Point is a local favorite for meetups at the Murray Circle Bar. A great place for Bay Area views, this one is the closet option to the city. So those that really want to spend time in San Francisco, but do not want to cross the bridge to get the wedding, this is your place. It is near the shmancy but beautiful tourist town of Sausalito, so this area can get pricey. It is the highest end hotel on the list, so you would be pampering yourself this this one. This one is definitely 45 minutes from the venues, so this option might require renting a car. The restaurant and bar are a good option for a bite in between weekend events.

Americas Best Value Inn Novato Marin Sonoma

This is a decent, affordable option if you want to be close to the Tiet Family's home. They live in a nice neighborhood only minutes from this location. It is farther from the venues, but you will be with family, not to worry, they will get you there.
