Flashback to freshman year of high school when Michelle & Bonnie met...they were young & bright-eyed students who were eager to take on leadership roles and make a positive mark on bulldog country. Their friendship blossomed while planning rallies and school dances, studying for calculus exams, and dreaming big together. They’re known for their heart-to-heart exchanges, which they still have until this very day. Although several states separate CA and NC, reunions are that much sweeter, and they always pick up right where they left off. Michelle is creative, crafty & detail oriented; she also has quite the eye for floral arrangements. Plus, she is the best dog mom to Kobe, her Black Lab Mix.

Stephen and Hayden met at USC 7 years ago when they both started their master’s degree program together. Little did they know they would become great friends over the course of the years spent at USC. They continued their journey together as classmates in dental school, where they spent countless hours working hard, but also getting into crazy shenanigans. Whether playing Settlers of Catan or enjoying a bottle of Tito's, these two did everything together. They were both members of the same dental fraternity, and remain close even after graduation. Recently, Hayden and his wife have taken a big step in their careers and became dental practice owners!

Kat welcomed Bonnie as her roommate during their 3rd year of college having barely met the girl! Lo & behold, they became the best of friends. Having both spent the last 5+ years in LA together, they’ve explored various hotspots together. Dinner at Quarters KBBQ, boba runs at Bopomofo, late night drive through at McDonalds – the list goes on! Although Bonnie is a marketer and Kat is a lawyer, they share so much in common. In addition to navigating the corporate world together, they love K-Dramas (CLOY forever!) and had an obsession over animal crossing. Kat is one of the smartest and hardest working people Bonnie knows and she loves that their conversations come so effortlessly.

Sean Sladek

Stephen and Sean started off as T-ball teammates many years ago and quickly became good friends. They went to elementary school through high school together in Granite Bay. They have made countless memories together, from gaming with each other to going to Tuesday "dollar scoop nights" at the "SPL." Sean has a great sense of humor and has always been incredibly supportive in all of Stephen's endeavors. He has always been very ambitious, and recently completed his Master of Business Administration program. Sean currently lives in Idaho and is engaged to his bride to be, Rachel. Stephen can’t wait to stand by Sean's side at his wedding with the silhouette of the Teton mountains in view!

Ashley Cheng

Ashley and Bonnie became friends at UC Berkeley, but it was post-graduation when their friendship grew – and it was kickstarted by their love for fashion & fancy dresses. Although rarely living in the same city, Ashley always makes it a point to check-in and get together when possible. She’s the best at sending surprise snail mail! Over the years, they’ve celebrated many life milestones together. Bonnie admires Ashley for many reasons: she’s a DIY wizard, culinary chef and simply a genuine human being all around. When Ashley’s not practicing dentistry, you can find her spending time with her 2 fur-babies, Bernie & Gordo (the cutest corgis you’ll ever meet!).

On the dusty trails near Folsom Lake, Josh and Stephen first met as teammates almost 20 years ago! In junior high and high school, they were both classmates and members of the cross-country and track teams. Not only is Josh funny, but he has been a caring friend to Stephen for years. They still love to bond over hiking, jokes, and a couple of cold ones. Stephen cannot wait to have Josh by his side on his special day!

As September babies, it’s no surprise that these Virgos get along swimmingly! They’ve shared countless memories together, including ‘sing-and-dance’ performances for the extended family during their teeny bopper years and traveling to the Bahamas and the PNW as they got older. Although 4 years younger than Bonnie, Amy is wise beyond her years. Bonnie can always count on Amy to be the responsible & rational one of the cousin group, ensuring they are staying out of trouble. 😇 While Amy’s intelligence & coding skills are impressive, what Bonnie loves most about Amy is that she is the best listener and the perfect confidant.

Stephen and Vi-Khoi met each other while serving as pediatric co-residents during their time at USC. Vi-Khoi has a hilarious sense of humor that very few can rival! They've shared silly memories, like dressing up as toy story characters for halloween and resident room shenanigans on "boyz dayz." He's a great friend to Stephen and they often swap stories and learnings learnings now that they're both practicing post-training. Currently, Vi-Khoi is a practicing pediatric dentist serving the children of the Inland Empire area of southern California. Stephen is thankful to have Vi-Khoi standing by his side on his special day.

Just 2 years apart, Alice & Bonnie grew up together – quite literally across the street from one another. From attending the same K-12 schools and playing outside for hours at a time to getting ice cream at Rite Aid and visiting the happiest place on earth, they basically did everything together! Alice has always led the younger cousin tribe and she is someone they all look up to. Alice recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Amber and it’s been such a joy to watch her take on motherhood with so much love. While Alice has an incredibly kind and thoughtful side, she’s also hilarious and knows how to break the ice and make a crowd laugh 😉

Stephen and Alex had a great connection the moment they met! They grew much closer during Alex's bachelor party in Northern California years ago. They have been an important part of each other’s lives over the years. Recently, Alex and his wife welcomed the first addition to their family, Amber. He is married to Bonnie’s cousin and bridesmaid, Alice. Alex has thus had the unique opportunity to see the relationship between Bonnie and Stephen flourish; He has witnessed their trials and triumphs, both in their individual lives and as a couple. Stephen and Bonnie are honored to have him serving as officiant for their ceremony.

Megan Lee

Bonnie was ecstatic to officially have a new sister when Megan married Raymond August of 2019! Over the last decade, they’ve shared many adventures together. From hiking with a pack of large dogs in Mexico to running a 5K on Turkey Day, Megan challenges Bonnie to step beyond her comfort zone. In addition to Megan’s sporty side, she’s a brilliant physician and has the absolute biggest heart in the world. Her kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand exemplifies her loving nature. Bonnie is so excited that Megan will be moving to San Diego for her Pulm Crit Fellowship this year so they can finally fulfill their dreams of being neighbors & raising their future kids together!

Raymond is Bonnie’s brother and Stephen’s soon to be brother-in-law. He is a hard working and outstanding clinical pharmacist who balances his career serving at the hospital with exciting athletic adventures with his wife. Stephen and Raymond have gotten to know each other well over the years. From bro dates at Brazilian BBQ to paddle-boarding in Mission Bay, they have had many fun times together. Raymond will be soon be moving to San Diego, and Stephen is excited for them to game together!

Bonnie is so excited to gain a second sister! Since the day they met, Kaylyn has always welcomed Bonnie with open arms and made sure she felt comfortable and part of the O’Donnell family. Since they’re both planning their weddings at the same time, it’s nice to have each other’s support, especially when things get stressful. Kaylyn is a woman of many talents; she’s currently studying to be an occupational therapist but dabbled in photography in her free time and was an all-star barista. Kaylyn is such a giving person and always looks to put a smile on other people’s faces. How she treats and loves her new pup Rocco is indicative of just how caring she is!

Philip Yoong

Stephen and Philip met during a pediatric dental externship while still in dental school. The two hit it off right away, and kept in touch. While on the residency interview trail, they even went hiking together in Hawaii! They became close friends as co-residents at USC. From having a few white-claws and enjoying Nintendo Switch, to discussing Korean skincare products, these two have developed a unique bond! Currently, Philip is a practicing pediatric dentist in Orange County and serves as faculty at USC's Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. Stephen is honored to have him not only as a colleague but also as his groomsman.

During Bonnie’s first solo visit to Berkeley, she spotted Ankita on the Bay Area Bart and wondered if she found her first college friend! As fate would have it, they ended up at the same housing facility, became roommates, AND lifelong friends. Despite the challenges of college and pursuing their careers on opposite coasts thereafter, Ankita & Bonnie’s friendship has only gotten stronger over the years. Ankita is currently completing her pediatric neurology fellowship in Ohio, but Bonnie can always count on her to be there for all the important moments, no matter how big or small.

This little bundle of cuteness entered Alice & Alex’s lives November of 2021. Bonnie & Stephen are honored to be Amber’s Godparents and hope to be positive mentors as she grows up. Although she's only a few months old, you can tell she already has the most vibrant personality! We are delighted to have her as our flower girl.
