Grass Valley is a small town located off Highway 20 in Northeast California. Grass Valley and Nevada City (CA) are sister towns and equidistance from our house. Look for lodging, food, etc. in either town.
Please note that while we are close to the Tahoe region, we are 1.5 hours from North Lake Tahoe, 3 hours from South Lake Tahoe.
Directions: Entering our address in Google or Apple maps should give you correct directions. Jones Ridge Road is a narrow road, you will need to pull over to allow other cars to pass should you encounter them. Look for a sign 0.6 miles up the road on the left.

Lodging: There are multiple hotels around Grass Valley and Nevada City, see a couple listed below or do a general search in the area. There are plenty of Airbnb options or campgrounds if that's more your speed. Airports: Reno-Tahoe International or Sacramento International Airports are the two closest to us. Both are over an hour drive from Grass Valley.
