Travel Note
For anyone planning to make a longer holiday out of the wedding, we would like to share that the Cannes Lions Festival takes place from June 21st–25th, bringing thousands of visitors to the destination. During this time, hotels in the center of Cannes are likely to be more expensive, availability is limited, and it is much busier than usual. If central Cannes is on your list of places to visit, we would recommend saving it for after the wedding, when the festival has finished and you can enjoy the city at a more relaxed pace. There are so many beautiful towns and villages nearby, so don't feel you need to stay in center of Cannes to make the most of your trip. Please visit our 'Things to Do' page for day trip inspiration! For those coming just for the wedding weekend, don't let this put you off staying in Cannes! Some beachfront areas and private beach clubs may remain temporarily closed while festival preparations are being cleared. The town's charming streets, beautiful boutiques, cafés, and wonderful restaurants will still be yours to explore and enjoy. We simply wanted to share this little heads-up so you can plan your stay accordingly!
Flight
We recommend flying into Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), which is approximately 30–45 minutes from Cannes by car, depending on traffic. Car hire, taxis, private transfers, and Uber are all available from the airport. From our experience, Uber tends to be the more affordable option compared to local taxis.
Train
For those who prefer to take the train, Nice Saint-Augustin is the closest station to the airport, with regular trains to Cannes taking approximately 35–45 minutes.

As most of you know, I'm a little hotel obsessed, so of course I couldn't resist putting together a list of some of my favorite places to stay in Cannes, Théoule-sur-Mer and Mandelieu-la-Napoule. I've personally visited all of the hotels I've recommended below, so these are places I've chosen with you all in mind. That being said, these are simply my suggestions, and you're absolutely welcome to stay wherever suits you best! There are so many wonderful hotels, villas, and apartments along the coast to choose from. Whether you're looking for a luxury hotel, a charming little boutique property, or an Air B&B to stay with a group of friends, there really is something for everyone. There are also plenty of lovely Airbnb and villa rental options in the area! If you prefer to book your own accommodation, we recommend looking in Cannes, Mougins, Théoule-sur-Mer, or Mandelieu-la-Napoule to ensure you're conveniently located for the wedding celebrations. Our church ceremony will take place in the heart of Cannes, followed by our wedding celebrations in Mandelieu-la-Napoule. All of the accommodation options we've recommended are conveniently located within approximately a 20-minute drive of both venues.
