Things To Do

We have put together a little guide to some of our favorite places along the beautiful Côte d'Azur! Of course, these are just a few of our favorites, and there are so many other wonderful places to discover! If you are thinking of visiting somewhere different, have any questions, or would simply like a few more recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to Bobbie. As you all know, she loves anything travel-related and is always more than happy to help you plan your time on the French Riviera!

Cannes

Cannes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France

Our Tip: Save Cannes for After the Wedding! We highly recommend exploring central Cannes from Monday, June 28th onwards. The Cannes Lions Festival takes place the week leading up to our wedding, meaning many of the beach clubs along La Croisette will be closed to the public for private events, with some taking additional time to reopen. Things to See & Do Shopping: Explore Rue d'Antibes for a mixture of high-street shops and boutiques, or La Croisette for luxury designer stores. Le Suquet (Old Town): Wander through Cannes' charming old town, filled with cobbled streets, little restaurants, and beautiful views over the harbor. Marché Forville: A lovely traditional French market filled with fresh produce, flowers, and local specialties. A great spot to explore in the morning. Favorite Beach Clubs: Mademoiselle Gray, Carlton Beach Club, La Plage du Martinez, La Môme Plage, Copal Beach

Just a short drive from Cannes, these two beautiful coastal towns offer a quieter, more relaxed side of the French Riviera, with lovely beaches, waterfront restaurants, and some of the most beautiful scenery along the coast. You'll already get a little taste of Mandelieu-la-Napoule, as this is where we will be celebrating our wedding. Things to See & Do Pointe de l'Aiguille: Famous for its dramatic red rocks, turquoise water, and secluded coves. A beautiful place for swimming and exploring. Corniche d'Or: One of the most scenic coastal drives on the French Riviera, with winding roads, red cliffs, and incredible Mediterranean views. Restaurants & Beach Clubs: Playa Chica, Chez Philippe, La Joya Beach, La Maréa, L'Or Bleu Our Tip: If you are looking for a more relaxed beach day away from the busy Cannes, this is a beautiful area to explore. We would recommend renting a car to discover the smaller coves and scenic coastal roads.
