Bobbie and Victor’s love story began in 2018, when they met for the very first time in an Intro class at Richmond University in London. Well, sort of… Victor had already spotted Bobbie a few times in class and had immediately fallen for her. But being a little on the shy side, he decided to play it cool and slide into her Instagram DMs with the very smooth opening line, “Hey, I think we’re in the same class, right?” Bobbie, however, wasn't quite as impressed with his approach. With only about 15 people in their class, she found it pretty funny that he was pretending not to know they were in the same one. Not particularly interested in a relationship at the time, she decided to “accidentally” leave him on read. Luckily for Victor, fate had a little help from Bobbie’s mum, Francine, who happened to be next to Bobbie when his follow up message popped up. Francine told Bobbie to not be rude and encouraged her to give him a chance! After a little persuasion, Bobbie finally agreed to a date at the Lass O’Richmond Hill pub, just across the road from their university. Little did she know that one date would turn into a lifetime together. Eight years, a civil wedding, a move across the Atlantic to the US, and one adorable (but very mischievous) puppy named Odin later, Bobbie couldn't be happier that she gave that Instagram message a second look. And the best is still to come!
