We’re excited to welcome you to Camp Laney, a cornerstone of our lives and part of the story of tens of thousands of campers across the Southeast since 1959. For over six decades, Camp Laney has been a sanctuary where lifelong friendships are forged and traditions cherished. Dinner will be served in Lou Mac Lodge, where we moved during the pandemic and lived for four unforgettable years. Perched atop the camp dining hall and described as “the heartbeat of camp” by a nurse, we felt at the very center of it all. This 100+ year-old lodge isn’t just a building; it’s a gathering place filled with stories and shared meals that have united generations. Camp Laney is even more special to us because it’s owned by Bo’s parents and our hosts, Rob and San Hammond, whose dedication has made the camp a home for so many. After dinner, join us for Campy Hour by the campfire. We couldn’t imagine a better way to begin this weekend than by sharing a piece of camp with you.
