Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Yes! Children under 4 years old get free admission to the faire any day and children under 12 are free on Sundays 👦👧

Question

Where do I get tickets?

Answer

The TRF website sells tickets via: https://www.etix.com/ticket/o/5020?_ga=2.6674416.315670912.1631305675-551770526.1631305675 One general admission ticket gets you in for ONE day. Be sure to buy extra if you plan on going multiple days!

Question

Is the general admission ticket different from the camping ticket?

Answer

YES If you plan on camping, you will need to buy a camping pass per person via (2nd page): https://www.etix.com/ticket/o/5020?_ga=2.6674416.315670912.1631305675-551770526.1631305675 You will also have to buy a parking pass for each vehicle that will be parking overnight, but that will be sold at the entrance of the campgrounds during the festival.

Question

How early should we arrive?

Answer

If you would like to take advantage of and become familiar with the fairgrounds, we recommend to get there as early as possible! The festival opens at 9:00. If you plan on arriving closer to the ceremony time, be sure to give yourself at least an extra hour to park and find your way around; the festival grounds are HUGE. Ceremony starts at 3:00pm CST.

Question

Where is the Festival?

Answer

The festival can be found on FM 1774 in-between Plantersvile and Madisonville; North-West of the greater Houston area. The website suggests coming to the Festival by taking Hwy 105 to FM 1774 in Plantersville and approaching the Festival from the north by one of these routes. Coming from the south through Madisonville can get very congested! For more information on location and a map, see the link below: https://www.texrenfest.com/map-directions
