Getting to Shenandoah Woods

181 Log Cabin Drive Stanley, Virginia 22851 (540) 999-1564 Shenandoah Woods is an hour and a half from Dulles International Airport (IAD) and two hours from Reagan National Airport (DCA) and Washington D.C. GPS and online mapping services are wonderful but can bring you the wrong way to Shenandoah Woods. Plus, as we've found, not all mobile devices will have a signal in the area. We suggest you bring a hard copy of the directions with you, which can be found at this link.

We hope you will be able to stay the weekend to celebrate with us! Shenandoah Woods owns and operates many of the vacation properties onsite that are either walking distance or a very short drive away. You can see their availability calendar and book a property on the website. The booking “coupon code” is SAAVTHEDATE. Note: If you book for three nights with Shenandoah Woods you get the fourth night free! Just make a reservation for three nights and in the notes add a comment about requesting the additional night at no additional charge.

Excellent cabin options nearby the venue are available at Hawksbill Retreat (kaa-kaawww). Hawksbill Retreat is just a few minutes from the venue. Both are operated Absolute Perfect Escape and Hawksbill Retreat are operated by the same management company who offer a selection of large cabins and several one-bedroom cabins. ***These cabins can be booked directly through the company’s website (no coupon code needed) or over the phone but be sure to reserve them soon!***

Another great option not too far from the venue are the cabins at the Absolute Perfect Escape (that’s right --- uh huh). Absolute Perfect Escape is about a fifteen minute drive across country roads. For guests who prefer a hotel instead, Mimslyn Inn in Luray offers individual guest rooms an the Manor House as well as private cottages. Mimslyn Inn is about fifteen minutes away from the venue.

Hotel Lawrence is a charming twelve room boutique hotel also just fifteen minutes away in Luray and within easy walking access to the downtown restaurants and attractions. Each suite has a full kitchen for a short-term or extended stay.

Shuttle

Shuttle Service for Ceremony & Reception

October 16, 2021 3:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Shenandoah Woods has a shuttle that will make rounds to transport guests from Shenandoah Woods cabins to the Pavilion and ceremony area at 3:30pm. The shuttle will make return trips at 10:00pm and 11:00pm.
