Citrus On the Lake Boutique Hotel

This is the main hotel for the wedding party and recommended stay for all guests! There is a room block available at the below link! The Citrus on the Lake, located in downtown Tavares, Florida (featured in the photo above) will be our main hotel for wedding guests. We'd love it if you'd stay at the Citrus on the Lake with us and celebrate with us all weekend! The Citrus on the Lake offers a modern, stylish stay right on the waterfront in downtown Tavares. Guests will enjoy comfortable rooms, a scenic pool, and a rooftop bar perfect for sunset views. Located just 10 minutes from our wedding venue, this hotel is within walking distance to several local bars, restaurants and lakefront attractions. For a fun twist on your stay, don't miss the hidden speakeasy in the hotel's basement - an ideal spot for a unique nightcap!

Lakeside Inn

The Lakeside Inn is a lovely alternative option for guests seeking a charming, historic stay just 10 minutes from the Citrus Hotel and just 20 minutes from our wedding venue. Nestled along the shores of Lake Dora in the heart of downtown Mount Dora, this picturesque inn offers cozy accommodations, beautiful lake views, and a relaxing old-Florida atmosphere. Guests can enjoy onsite dining, a lakeside pool, and easy to access boutique shopping, restaurants and bars - all within walking location.

Alternative Stay Options

There are many other ways to stay in the area including plenty of other hotels, BnBs, and AirBnB options in the area. If the Citrus Hotel or Lakeside Inn is not for you, we recommend searching for alternatives in the towns of Tavares (where Citrus Hotel is located) or Mount Dora (where Lakeside Inn is located)!

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) - Airport Information

Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is a fantastic alternative to the larger Orlando International Airport. Located in Sanford, FL, SFB is Orlando's more relaxed secondary airport; quieter terminals, shorter lines and easy navigation. They offer plenty of fights options, including budget flight options such as Allegiant or Frontier, as well as rental car service and rideshare pickups are available outside the terminal. SFB is located about 40-45 minutes away from our wedding venue.

Orlando International Airport (MCO) Airport Information

For guests flying in from out of town, the Orlando International Airport (MCO) is one of the two closest airports. MCO is a large, well connected airport with plenty of options for flights, rental car services and easy rideshare pickup. MCO is 40 minutes-50 minutes from our wedding venue and the Citrus on the Lake hotel.
