The wedding will take place on Saturday April 11th, 2026 at The Howey Mansion. The Howey Mansion is located at 1001 Citrus Avenue, Howey-in-the-Hills, FL 34737. The ceremony will take place at 5pm.
Please arrive by 4:30 pm, 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony
Our dress code is Attire: Semi-Formal - Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
Yes! All events take place at Howey Mansion!
The ceremony will be outside and will last 15-30 minutes. Sunglasses will be provided in case you forget! The reception is a mixture of indoor and outdoor with cocktail hour and dinner in the outdoor back veranda and then the dance party, bar, and bathrooms will be indoor (with air conditioning).
Yes. Parking is onsite and there will be signs and an attendant to help with parking directions.
Yes. Transportation will be provided to and from the venue via charter bus.
Yes! We have booked a hotel block at Citrus on the Lake in Tavares, Florida. Please scroll up and go to the Travel tab and click on the link for Citrus Hotel. The link to book into the hotel block can be found directly from there. You can also call (352) 742-7676 and ask for the Blake-DuBois wedding block. Alternative booking options are also listed in the travel tab!

If you invitation says "and Guest", then yes! Otherwise, we are keeping things intimate and are only able to invite those listed on the invitation.

Absolutely! There will be cocktail hour from 5:30-6:30 with delicious passed hors d'oeuvres. Then a hand picked buffet dinner wll be served during the reception. Deserts, including "Arthurs Famous Flaming Doughnuts", will be served toward the end of the night to wrap things up.
Yes. Both the hors d'oeuvres and dinner buffet will include vegetarian AND vegan options.
Yes! There will be an open wine/beer bar available during the cocktail hour and reception.

We have an amazing team of photographers and videographers who will be capturing every moment of the day. During the ceremony, we ask that you keep your phones away.
Yes. Citrus by the Lake Hotel is right in the middle of Tavares Florida, which has ample options for late night bar visits after the reception. We will relocate to the hotel and decide where to go from there. Everything will be short walking distance.

We chose to get married in April because it historically rarely rains in Florida during the month of April. However, we do have a full tent that will be set up in the event that it rains or there is unexpected bad weather.
