This is right downtown Marquette and one of the places Bailey and Jake would go to constantly during her years at Northern. Super yummy coffee, great music and DELICIOUS desserts.
Cruisin is another little coffee joint here in Marquette with Bailey's FAVORITE coffee. If you want to be like Bailey for the weekend, she recommends an oat milk latte (hot) with blueberry and white chocolate but make sure to get half the flavoring. Unless you like really sweet coffee of course.
The Northland Pub!!! A true favorite of Jake and Bailey. When they lived nearby, they’d bundle up in the winter and walk over for a glass of wine by the fireplace. It’s just as beloved for dinner, with a rotating menu that’s always changing and always delicious.
This is a newer restaurant to Marquette but it is still amazing. It's in the Ramada hotel and it's got great cocktails and a big menu with all kinds of different foods! We personally love their Crab Mac & Cheese, Mussel & Truffle Frites, Beet Salad and the Better Made Burger.
This is one of Jake and Bailey's favorite bars for a nice cocktail! Not only are the cocktails delicious but it's a rooftop bar in the oldest hotel in Marquette with sweeping views of Lake Superior.
This local spice and tea shop is one of Jake and Bailey’s absolute favorites, probably in the whole state of Michigan! If you love to cook, you definitely don’t want to miss it. Jake’s go-to is the Coffee BBQ seasoning. It’s amazing on steaks, enhancing the natural flavors without tasting like coffee at all. Bailey’s favorite is the Autumn Spice seasoning, perfect in her. blended soups. Specifically, mixed with roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and a splash of cream. So delicious!
Great local clothing shop for high quality pieces! Plus, they sell the iconic Stormy Kromer hats.
If you drink beer, this is our local watering hole. $4 dollar beers, high quality music and company. Can't ask for more!
If you're looking for views, this one just doesn't get any better! This is a hike to get up there but only .75 miles and there are stairs! If you take your time, it's not bad at all and you get the most gorgeous views of Marquette and Lake Superior from here. One of our favorite spots to watch the sunrise.
An absolute favorite beach spot of ours. Much quieter than most of the beaches in Marquette and you get a good amount of sand & cliff here. Beautiful views.
You can't come to Marquette and not go to Presque Isle Park! There are so many beautiful views on this island. If you have time, I suggest hiking it (about 2 miles around the entire thing). But there's a loop you can drive around as well. Make sure to stop at Blackrocks on the island as well! And yes, there is Blackrock's the place and Blackrock's the brewery!
