Where is Tailwater Lodge?
Answer
Tailwater Lodge is approximately 35 minutes north of Syracuse. It is in the (very) small town of Altmar, NY.

Are all wedding-related events happening at the Tailwater?

What accommodations are available?
Answer
We have a room block set-up at the Tailwater Lodge. There are also Airbnbs in the area. There are some lodges and campsites, too, for anyone down for a more rustic vibe. Otherwise, Syracuse is about 30-40 minutes away and there are plenty of options there! Please see our "Travel" section for additional recommendations.

When should I book accommodation?
Answer
If you are interested in staying at the Tailwater Lodge, to avoid disappointment we do recommend you book as soon as possible. There are a limited number of rooms in our room block. If you are interested in other accommodation options, please see the "Travel" section. However, if you stay elsewhere please ensure you plan to have a designated driver as rideshare options are not reliable in this area.

We love your kids, but the wedding is going to be adult-only.

Is there parking?
Answer
Yes! There is ample free parking at the Tailwater.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan to be in the ceremony space (called "The Porch" which is in "The Barn") by 4:15pm

What's the dress code?

We kindly ask guests wear semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Will any part of the day be outside?
Answer
Everything will be indoors, however, there is an outdoor patio/outdoor space which guests will be able to enjoy, weather dependent!

I have a food allergy/accessibility-related need, can I make a special request?
Answer
In regards to food, there will be gluten free and vegetarian options. If your party has another dietary need, please don't hesitate to reach out to Anna!
