Like many millennials, Mike and Anna met on a dating app. Rewind to 2023: Anna was living in Binghamton, where Mike grew up and was living at the time. To their surprise, given their respective challenges with dating up until that point, their first date went really, really well. So well, actually, they use the date - February 10 - as their anniversary. From their first date, Anna and Mike have been inseparable. Well... except for the fact that shortly after they began dating, Anna got a new job in Buffalo. Mike was supportive of Anna doing what she needed for her career, and they agreed to give long distance a shot. For the first year and a half of their relationship, they made weekly trips to visit each other, alternating their weekends between Binghamton and Buffalo. In 2024 Mike got a new job working for Independent Health, based in Buffalo. They began making plans to buy a house. While that process didn't go exactly as planned, they finally moved into their new home in July 2024. Shortly thereafter, they adopted their adorable puppy Sally. Since meeting, Mike and Anna have been on countless adventures; from their first vacation in Lake Placid to travelling halfway across the world to South Africa. Through it all they've grown deeper in love. They got engaged April 18, 2025 and are thrilled to be celebrating their love and marriage with their friends and family!
