Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outside - weather permitting! Cocktail hour, yard games, and a bonfire will be outside as well. However, dinner and dancing will take place in the barn.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There is plenty of parking available to our guests who are driving to the venue. If you choose to indulge in adult beverages, we want you to be safe in getting home. Just in case, guests can leave their cars overnight until 11AM on Sunday, September 29th.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

To keep our ceremony and reception intimate, guests are permitted if they are noted on your invitation and have confirmed attendance via RSVP.

Where should we bring/send a wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 4839 W Lake Way, Douglasville, GA 30135. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We’d love for you to dress up with us! The ceremony will be outside - weather permitting, so be mindful of your footwear. However, the barn has wood floors. If you're looking for suggestions on what to wear, we recommend somewhere between dressy casual and semi-formal.

If I am coming in from out of town, where should I stay?

Answer

We have reserved hotel blocks at the Holiday Inn Express in Hudson, WI and the Best Western Plus in Hudson, WI. for stays between 9/27-9/29. Both hotel blocks are under “DaCosta-Bisbee Wedding.” Transportation to and from the venue will be available from both hotels. See our "Travel" tab for more details on how to book one of the hotel rooms. There are also of plenty of hotel options and Airbnb's in the towns surrounding the venue.

What is the timeline of the wedding day?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4PM, followed by a cocktail hour from approximately 4:30PM-5:30PM. Dinner will be served around 6PM, and dancing, yard games, and a bonfire will follow.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love kids! If your children are noted in your invitation, we are happy for them to come.

I have a food allergen or dietary preference, will there be food that accommodates me?

Answer

If you have a food allergen or dietary preference, please note it in your RSVP so that we can ensure we have a meal that meets your needs!

What are the transportation options to and from the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at either hotel block, a shuttle will be provided to and from the venue. Please indicate in your RSVP if you will be taking the shuttle so we can provide an actual headcount to the bus company. See our “Travel” tab or the invitation for more details on shuttle times. You may also drive as there is plenty of parking available at the venue. If you need to, you may leave your car overnight until 11AM on Sunday, September 29th!

Answer

Thank you for traveling for our special day! The closest airport to the venue and hotels with our wedding blocks is MSP.
