it’s a lovely seaside village about 20 minutes from the castle that has something for everyone – hike Knocknarea (queen maeves resting place, similar to carrowkeel but the entrance has collapsed so no one knows whats inside), try a surf lesson, have a seaweed bath or spa treatment in Voya, play a round of golf, simply walk the beach or climb the sand dunnes in shelly valley… a little village with a lot going on. They have everything on their local website
The Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles northeast of the town of Bushmills.
