Welcome Party

4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Summer picnic. It’s June in Texas, so I recommend light and airy. For my masculine dressers: Linen pants, dress shorts, open collars. For my feminine dressers: Summer dresses, sandals or block heels. This is at a park so expect uneven terrain and leave any spike heels at home. (Yes, this used to say “cocktail attire” but I don’t care about that anymore. I just want yall to be comfortable, stay hydrated and not risk overheating.)

This is a welcome party for our family members and out-of-town guests! Chris and I want a little extra time with you to express our gratitude for your support and for joining us to celebrate our wedding. We’re so excited to kick off our wedding with some great food, drinks, merriment, and the people we love most in this world- that’s you!

'Bagels & Toasts' Pre-reception!

11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Fun in the Sun Attire: on the water casual + SUNSCREEN… Swimsuits, cover-ups, sandals/flip flops/river shoes and sun hats are ideal. Aim for more of a 'Mediterranean Sea Vacation' vibe, and less of a 'Spring-Break-Woo!' vibe- meaning, please leave your cut-offs and muscle tanks at home. If you'd rather not indulge in beach-wear, I recommend casual summer dresses, linen shorts/pants, and making sure you still have a swimsuit on-hand to change into!

We’re setting sail at 11a sharp! PLEASE BE ON TIME as we are anchors up for a bagel brunch and toasts before the wedding ceremony.
