Our Love Story

Bianca's Version

Bride

Michael and I met a few years ago through a mutual friend we had at that time. During a FaceTime call with her while they were both in the car, Michael heard my voice and immediately asked, "Who is that?" After a brief introduction, he requested to take me out on a date the upcoming weekend. Michael took my number and we texted nonstop. We exchanged numbers and texted nonstop. A few days before our "scheduled date," I asked Michael where he was taking me, and he said it was a surprise. I was thrilled and looked forward to meeting him for the first time. When the day came, I made sure to look my best—first impressions count! Michael picked me up from my apartment and took me to Morton's Steakhouse. The date was wonderful; we had great conversations and laughed throughout the night. Although I value first impressions highly and felt Michael wasn't as intentional as I hoped, I stopped responding to his texts and calls. Yet, he was persistent. About a month later, after hearing that I had lost my dad, Michael reached out to express his condolences. It was then that our friendship truly blossomed. Several months later, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and on November 2, 2024, he asked me to be his wife! Michael is my dream come true, my forever best friend, and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Groom

Sometimes being nosey can take you a long way. It was springtime a couple of years ago when I was giving someone a ride to Virginia. Instead of staying focused on the road, I found myself caught up in someone else’s conversation. Then I heard Bianca’s voice. It immediately caught my attention she sounded so sexy that I just had to see her face. I grabbed the phone and chatted with her briefly. During our conversation, I asked if she had any plans for Friday evening. She said no, so I took her number and planned our first date. At first, I wanted to take her to Swahili Village, knowing they have great food and drinks. But Bianca wasn’t feeling it and told me, “No.” So, we switched plans and ended up at Morton’s Steakhouse. We enjoyed delicious steaks and had such a great conversation that I wished the night would never end. After the date, though, Bianca started responding to my messages a little slower. I thought, two can play that game, and I started doing the same. A couple of weeks passed, and eventually, we both dropped the pettiness and became intentional about building something together. And now we are here getting married
