Beavers Bend State Park
In November, many things in the park will be too cold to enjoy, however for avid outdoorsmen, you can find challenging hikes, kayaking, and ATV trails with in-town rental services. For those of us who like a more relaxing getaway, winding roads with heavy tree canopies and breathtaking views are accessible year-round from the comfort of your car. You can bundle up and venture down to some lazier parts of the river via the friendly trails near the nature center.

If you're looking for easy dinner and cheesy bread that is TO DIE FOR, go no further. There are lots of little restaurants full of over-priced hipster food served on tin shingles but none of them will compete with this place. AND - you can grab it to go and enjoy it in the comfort of your cabin.

With frozen wine-a-rita flights and a HUGE gift shop with stuff for everyone, this cute little place is a sure crowd-pleaser for guests looking for easy going nightlife.
Hochatown Saloon
Billy and Heather, Brandon's parents recommend this place from their honeymoon trip. B and I ate there and played a few games of pool about a year ago. There are plenty of characters to be found here!
