Unplugged?

Answer

We're paying for a wonderful photographer and promise to keep our ceremony short and sweet. We'll gladly share ceremony photos with you once we recieve them. You're free to take photos after the ceremony but we ask kindly that you PLEASE refrain from the "race to Facebook" with unsolicited pictures. We do not have a "wedding hashtag" and do not encourage spending any of your precious time posting to social media during the ceremony or reception. We drug you all out to the mountains for a reason -- soak it in! :)

Question

I can't find the venue!

Answer

Cell reception is iffy and navigation apps aren't always reliable. Fred and Peggy, the venue owners, suggest that you print both MAP and TURN-BY-TURN directions before you head out. If you need assistance, you're always welcome to reach out to one of us, but please be aware that the bridal/groom party will likely be attending to pre-ceremony events and may not hear their phone ring.

Can I bring kids and/or pets?

Answer

Bring both, if your cabin or accommodations allow them! The venue will likely not allow dogs inside but many pet-friendly cabins are available nearby. The park is GREAT outdoor time for them. Please let one of us know ahead of time if you are bringing children and how old so that we can have activities planned for them during the reception. It will likely be too cold for them to play outside and cell service is limited, so little ones may get bored.

Where are you registered?

Answer

Look. We're not here to turn down free stuff. That being said, we're not registered anywhere because we wouldn't have storage for new household items. If you're the kind of person who insists on gift giving, we'd love it if you brought a Christmas gift for Jack to put under the tree this year or contributions to our travel fund. Absolutely no gifts are necessary or expected -- YOU are our best gift :)
