FAQs

Question

What are the key times and dates for the Wedding?

Answer

Welcome Party: Friday, July 17, 6-9 PM (Noble Twist Taphouse) Ceremony: Saturday, July 18, 1 PM (St. Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas, MI) Cocktail Hour: Saturday, July 18, 4-6 PM (Ivy House) Reception: Saturday, July 18, 6-11:45 PM (Ivy House)

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 1:00, so we recommend arriving 15 minutes before then.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want everyone to feel comfortable and look great while celebrating with us! Our dress code is semi-formal/dressy casual—think polished, but relaxed and summer-friendly. For women, this could include a sundress, midi or maxi dress, a dressy jumpsuit, or a skirt and blouse. For men, a button-down shirt with slacks or chinos is perfect; jackets and ties are completely optional.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at the church for the ceremony and at the reception. Vehicles may be left at the reception venue (Ivy House) overnight, but must be picked up by 10:30 AM the next day. Need a ride? The Saugatuck Interurban provides transportation throughout the area, helping guests enjoy the weekend safely and responsibly. Visit https://www.saugatuckinterurban.org/ for details.

Question

Can I update my RSVP?

Answer

Thank you to everyone who has already submitted their RSVP. We have now provided our final attendance and meal counts to the venue and caterer, so we are unfortunately unable to make changes to guest counts, attendance, or meal selections. We know that unexpected situations can come up, and we appreciate your understanding as we work within the venue's and caterer's requirements.

Question

Do I need my ID?

Answer

If you intend on drinking, YES. The venue has a strict ID policy for serving alcohol.
