Wedding Party

Gabby Ellsworth

Maid of Honor

Supportive, encouraging, and inspiring, Gabby is everything I could ever hope for in a best friend. From our awkward stages of high school to adulting in the real world, Gabby has been by my side through it all, always bringing the party AND the chapstick. She cheers me up when I'm down, and on my best days, raises me even higher. I'm so thankful to have met this girl 10+ years ago and am ever grateful for her unwavering friendship and support over the years.

Scott Miller

Best Man

Scott and I met the same way Katie and I did (in pledge class), but, as you might have guessed, things turned out a little different for us. Scott is an amazing friend and has always encouraged me to try new things and branch out. I don’t know what I would have done without him by my side throughout our time at USC and afterward as we began our careers. Scott is very passionate and cares for everyone he gets the chance to meet.

Steph Angeloni

Bridesmaid

Steph and I endured years of mechanical engineering together and both got internships in Charleston the summer of 2015. We wound up sharing an apartment together and spent three months trying to out-tan each other. After graduation, we both moved to Charleston for our big girl jobs, and since then, there's rarely been a day that goes by without Steph receiving a play-by-play of my day and I one of hers. Aside from Robert, Daisy, and Ollie, she is my family here. Whether it's skipping class to get brunch, baking in the sun, complaining about work, or planning a home renovation project, Steph will always be the first person I enlist for moral support.

Joe Clegg

Groomsman

Joe and I became close friends through our love for playing ultimate frisbee in college my freshman year. Not too long after that, I joined Theta Tau, and Joe became my Big. He was a MechE, in all the same classes as Katie, and we always joke that we don't know who he was friends with first. We have stayed close through the years, even after college, and Joe has been my go-to golf partner since moving to Charleston. Joe is an amazing friend, and let's just say this hair didn't grow itself without Joe's mentorship!

Kristina Bowman

Bridesmaid

Approximately 15 years ago I put pink lipstick on Nick Jonas' lips on a poster on her wall, and, although it took time, Kristina found it in her heart to forgive me. That's not to say I don't still hear about it to this day, however. I guess you can say I learned pretty early on in our friendship that Kristina is one of the kindest and most compassionate people I'll ever met. Beyond that, she is one of the most thoughtful and creative people. Beautiful inside and out, Kristina is the epitome of a great friend. She is dependable, and her friendship is irreplaceable.

Will Long

Groomsman

Will has been a close friend through the years, dating back to when we were high school freshman on the Spring Valley swim team. Over the years, Will and I have always had some friendly competition between us when it comes to sports. He consistently encourages me to test my limits and keeps me active. Nowadays, instead of swimming, we play golf or ultimate frisbee, and we are still as competitive as we were back in high school. Will is an amazing friend who has always had my back.

Blair Lim

Bridesmaid

Dating back to elementary school, though we were close friends, Blair and I had a tendency to butt heads. It took us about 10 years to figure out that we were just too dang similar. Going into college, we both wound up pursuing mechanical engineering degrees, she at UMD, and I at USC. We both made it out alive and, as fate would have it, wound up landing aerospace careers at The Boeing Company, she on the west coast, and I on the best coast ;). Blair has been a lifelong role model. 15 years ago she was teaching me how to put on makeup and straighten my hair, and now she inspires and encourages me to continually grow and better myself.

Sagar Mistry

Groomsman

Sagar and I have known each other since high school, but we became close friends at USC when we wound up in the same fraternity. Sagar is an incredible friend and has been one of my go-to dinner dates (sorry Katie!) in Charleston since moving here. Usually we wind up at a Thai or Indian restaurant, where I feel obligated to order the spiciest level, just like him, but his spice tolerance puts mine to shame, and one of us usually ends up in pain (not him). Whether it's going on a spicy food adventure or just a quick game of bocce ball on the beach, Sagar is a guy I want by my side!

Erin Klahre

Bridesmaid

I met Erin on the first day of first grade, making her my only friend of 20 years now. She was the first friend who's home phone number I learned, and she's one of the few friends who's cell I still know by heart. We played basketball and softball together and beyond that spent a lot of weekends playing dress-up, doing crafts, baking cookies, and making music videos. There is certainly something to be said about two decades of friendship. The bonds you make with the friends you grow up with are truly some of the strongest. I'm thankful that every time I see Erin, even if it's been 8 months, we pick up right where we left off, and to me, that is priceless.

Spencer Green

Groomsman

I've known Spencer since middle school, back when we were both a lot shorter. Spencer and I grew closer as we started swimming together in high school. Growing up, we had a lot of common interests and spent a lot of time in the great outdoors- mountain biking, hiking, playing frisbee, and eno-ing. We lived together for half of our college career at USC, joined the same fraternity, and were in a lot of the same classes since we were both civil engineering majors. Spencer has always been there for me through the years, and I am grateful that he has never been one to shy away from an adventure.

Kelly Morgan

Bridesmaid

Kelly was the first friend I made at USC. Our aversion to chemistry blossomed into a long-lasting friendship. It didn't take us long to figure out we both loved playing sports, watching baseball, and eating good food. From then on, Kelly was my go-to lunch date, workout buddy, and pretty much everything in between. Spending time with Kelly is always a treat because she's so positive and genuine - she emanates happiness. She's always the first to ask how you, and even your family, are doing. I'm so lucky to have her around, whether it's to chat about life or put a smile on my face.

Brendan Ayres

Groomsman

Brendan and I both have an appreciation for golf and spent most of our high school days competing against one another on the golf team. Our love of golf is what brought us closer. We wound up living together for 3 of my 4 years at USC. He is a great friend who has always been there for me, and I am grateful to have become such close friends with him throughout our college years and after graduation.
