This is one of our favorite restaurants in Charleston! Texas-style BBQ is their specialty. We recommend the sliced brisket, mac and cheese, and hot guts sausage!
This place is great if you want to relax and grab a beer or a fun meal. The Workshop is cafeteria-style and always has a variety of great food (Mexican, Asian, Cuban, burgers, etc.). There's also a fantastic outdoor seating area (covered and uncovered) in a large courtyard. Perfect for larger groups!
This open air market is full of local souvenirs and is a great place to just park and walk around. There are lots of great restaurants nearby too!
A great place to park, walk around, shop, and grab a bite to eat! There is lots of Charleston charm to be experienced on King Street!
We highly recommend you take a trip downtown and check out the unique historic charm that Charleston has to offer. White Point Gardens is a beautiful park along the water, full of live oaks and pretty views of historic homes. This is where some of our engagement photos were taken!
Interested in walking the Ravenel (that huge bridge you have to drive over to get to Mount Pleasant) to get a better view of Charleston from above? Park here!
This is our favorite county park. It has some great nature trails (flat and low-impact, dog and stroller friendly) that show off Charleston's marshes and wildlife. There is also a large dog park!
