A great steak restaurant tucked away in the center of El Poblado. Hanzel ordered the biggest steak on the menu for $25 and rated it 8/10....and we know how Hanzel feels about his steaks! This restaurant is definitely one of our favorites in Medellin
For those looking to experience authentic, traditional Colombian food. Modongo's is a very popular restaurant right in the center of El Poblado. It is casual dining and although usually very busy, it does not require reservations. Although highly recommended by others, we personally did not care for the food.
For those looking to treat themselves to a lavish spa day, we recommend Kua Spa located in Movich Las Lomas Hotel. This spa/hotel is located about 25 minutes away from El Poblado and only about 5 minutes from the airport. This spa offers a variety of hydrotherapy baths, facials, and massages. Although this location is considered to be upscale, you can enjoy a 4-hour spa experience including the hydrotherapy baths and a 60 minute massage for about $110USD.
A peaceful park in the city with a variety of tropical plants, butterflies, and iguanas roaming around. The park also has a restaurant where you can enjoy some cocktails or wine with lunch or dinner and a couple of cafes for snacks. Entry into the park is free.
