What time should I arrive?

If your are not traveling to the venue with the arranged transportation, please arrive at the venue no later at 04:00pm.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! Transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue from 3 main hotels where all guests can easily meet at. Pickup locations and times will be announced closer to the date of the wedding

What is the attire?

Answer

To enhance the ambiance of our event, we kindly request that all guests dress in formal attire, adhering to an all-black theme. This includes long elegant dresses or elevated cocktail dresses for ladies and black suits or tuxedos with a black or white shirt for men. We believe this will create a unified look for our ceremony and reception. Your presence is what matters most to us, and we want you to feel comfortable and confident in your attire. If you have any questions or concerns about the dress code, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Is there parking on site?

Yes, free parking is available at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one, they'll appear under your name when you RSVP.

When are RSVPS due?

Answer

June 30th, 2024. We kindly request that you RSVP by this date so that we can make appropriate arrangements for our wedding.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside (weather permitting). The reception will be held inside.

What are the requirements to enter Colombia?

Answer

Along with bringing your passport, please fill out your Checkmig online forms before boarding your flights to Colombia and when returning back to the U.S. Your airline will ask you for this. https://www.migracioncolombia.gov.co/check-mig

Is Medellin safe?

Answer

Medellin is generally a safe city, and is considered one of the safest cities in Colombia. However, as with any major city around the world, it's important to exercise common sense and take necessary precautions.

Will there be a room block?

Answer

Yes! We have a block of rooms for guests set up at Click Clack, Lettera hotel, and Binn hotel. Please head to travel tab for more details.

How do we get around Medellin?

Answer

We recommend Uber. Drivers may request you to sit in the front seat which is a normal practice in Colombia. You can also ask the hotel, a restaurant, or a security guard to call a cab for you.

Around high 70s during the day and mid 50s in the evening

Are credit/debit cards accepted?

Answer

In most restaurants and businesses, yes! But, you will need some cash (street restaurants/ small shops/ taxis/ tips, etc).

What is tipping culture like in Medellin?

It is not required or expected. However, if you enjoyed the services that you received, a 10% tip is appreciated.

Is Wi-Fi easily accessible?

Wi-Fi is widely available in malls and most accommodations. T-Mobile users may have free 4G access, while other carriers may require a daily fee.

Currency Exchange

Answer

-Bancolombia: a good exchange rate and wide acceptance of US cards -Airport: rates there may be higher -US bank: check with your bank to see if they offer foreign currency exchange services before your trip. You may also want to notify them that you are traveling out of the country to prevent your card from being blocked.
