Although taxis are always readily available at the arrivals exit, we advise that you take an uber from the airport into the city. The airport is about 30 mins from El Poblado and the fare is typically around $25USD. Based on demand and arrival times, we may arrange transportation closer to dates of the trip. Communa 13, once known to be the most dangerous neighborhood in Latin America, has transformed into a vibrant community adorned with colorful street art and filled with a resilient spirit. Price per person: 33,000 COP ($9 USD) The tour will begin at San Javier metro station and from there we will take public transportation (which is included) with the tour guide to the entrance of the Communa 13 neighborhood. Includes -a guided tour through Communa 13 where we will walk through houses and the guide will explain the significance of murals created by various artists that lived through gang and military occupation. -Handmade mango ice cream -Traditional drink known as Chicha This tour will include walking up steep hills and A LOT of steps so please wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Although we felt very safe during our tour, we do not recommend that you bring valuables or jewelry.

Please join us for some welcome drinks and hors d'oeuvres for a last hoorah before the big day! No dress code, but we recommend cocktail dresses for the ladies and business casual for men.

To enhance the ambiance of our event, we kindly request that all guests dress in formal attire, adhering to an all-black theme. This includes long elegant dresses or elevated cocktail dresses for ladies and black suits or tuxedos with a black or white shirt for men. We believe this will create a unified look for our ceremony and reception. With respect, while we love your little ones we have decided to make our wedding an adult-only occasion. We hope that this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day!
