New Realm Brewing Co.
Alex and Samantha went here for their first date, sitting at the rooftop bar where they enjoyed beers, pizza, and wonderful conversation as the sun set over the Atlanta skyline! While there, definitely check out the Eastside Beltline trail, a pedestrian walking trail which connects New Realm to a variety of nearby restaurants and bars.
Piedmont Park
Only two blocks away from the Loews Atlanta Hotel, enjoy Atlanta's beautiful, urban greenspace by taking a stroll through Piedmont Park, enjoying the lake at the south end or the botanical gardens (tickets required) at the north end. Don't forget to stop by Woody's located at the southeast corner of the park for a delicious cheesesteak or milkshake!
Cypress Street Pint & Plate
This casual bar and restaurant is a favorite of Georgia Tech students, located only a couple of blocks off campus. With cheap beer and great food, how could it not be? Don't forget to wander through campus after the meal and check out some favorite spots, like Russ Chandler Stadium, where Alex could be found catching a baseball game after class, or the beautiful new John Lewis Student Center, which Samantha developed plans for in her role as head of the student program council.
Georgia Aquarium
The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the United States and boasts 11 million gallons of water. Notable animals available at the aquarium include sharks, whales, dolphins, and sea otters.
