For those of you that don't know, Emily and Noah's story has been romantic from the start. Just kidding. It began in 2014, with Noah copying off Emily in biology class at the University of Cincinnati our freshman year. Noah would try to discuss what was happening in class with Emily thinking he was playing it cool, but Emily could quickly tell he was clueless. It was a bit of a cat and mouse game because it to took 9 months after meeting and one pair of jorts before Emily said yes to a date. Noah took Emily out to Dewey's Pizza (he knew what he was doing - Emily could drink their Ranch). They've been in each other's lives ever since. They've grown as a couple, matured into adults (mainly Noah needed this) and moved across the country together starting their professional careers. Through their love of skiing, they have developed an affinity for Lake Tahoe and decided it was the perfect location to share this day together with friends and family. As a couple they have definitely experienced a lot of life events, mostly positive but some difficult times too. They have grown stronger together, continue to love and care for each other and be each other's biggest cheerleaders along the way. Noah grew up in the outskirts of Medina, OH where according to Emily, his childhood was like the 1800s. He enjoyed climbing trees, playing in the creek and riding his bike through the woods with his friends. Throughout his childhood and into his teenage years sports were his passion. While he was definitely more into sports than school, he did actually graduate from the University of Cincinnati and now works at Helix Electric in Oakland, CA. Emily grew up in the Air Force town of Fairborn, OH, a suburb of Dayton. She experienced a typical suburban childhood being active in cheerleading. While academics are much more her thing, she graduated from University of Cincinnati and now works at the San Francisco VA Medical Center focusing on PTSD research.
