Drive up to the top of the gap and gaze out at the beautiful scenery! If you’re feeling up to it, you can start here for a short hike up Mount Ellen or a longer 12 mile traverse of the Sugarbush ridge line ending at the Lincoln gap at the end of Mount Abe (need to caravan cars for this)
Mad River Glen
Ski season might not be in session, but hike up the ski trails for gorgeous views of the whole valley! You can park at the ski areas and wander up the ATV trails or forge your own path
