Benji and Lindsay

Benji and Lindsay first met while she was in her 3rd year of medical school at UVM College of Medicine. They bonded over their shared love of sports and craft beer. Their first date was at the (now sadly closed) Growler Garage in Burlington. They talked for two hours and Benji missed the beginning of his previously-scheduled escape route, his craft beer and book club (“Infinite Beers”) with his friends Lauren and Matt. Over the next few weeks, they kept meeting up for dates in downtown Burlington to watch Patriots games and drink tasty beer, but both of them were too nervous to make a move. Around that time, life caught up to them both, and they were so busy that it was hard to make time for dating. Over the next few months however, life kept throwing them together. They ran into each other on a winter hike up Camel's Hump, they were both in Chicago within a week of each other. They kept texting each other and eventually both of their respective busy lives calmed down enough that they were able to reconnect and give a relationship a shot for real. That time, it stuck, and the rest is history. Two years later, on their official dating anniversary, Benji proposed in their new home in Providence, RI.
