Wedding Party

Sam Dinnie

Maid of Honor

Sam and I met when we were 12 and 13 years old over our mutual love of Harry Potter. Despite living over 800 miles apart for our entire friendship, Sam has been one of the most important and impactful people in my life. My first solo flight at 18 years old was to fly across the country to meet Sam for the first time. Through all the highs and lows of preteen, teenage, and adulthood, from Indiana, to Massachusetts, to Washington DC, and back again, Sam has been a constant for me and there was no doubt in my mind when I formally asked them to be my maid of honor.

Logan Holter

Best Man

Logan and I met in middle school, but grew close in high school as we both spent a lot of time together in marching band playing saxophone. Logan, Jimmy, and I were an inseparable trio as seniors and we continued to spend time together as we could after we left high school. Logan's friendship brought me out of my shell and allowed me to truly enjoy just being one of the boys. His humor, his kindness, and his patience have greatly changed my life for the better and there could be no one else to stand at my side on the most important day of my life.

Allison Seward

Bridesmaid

Allison is my little sister and one of my go to people. Allison and I were very different and definitely had our moments growing up, from her stealing my clothes to karaoke level jam sessions in my car on the way to school. Despite these differences, we couldn’t be closer into each of our adulthoods. I am so excited to have her standing with me while I marry the love of my life, who she has very affectionately called “bro” since day one.

Jeremy Sapp

Groomsman

Jeremy is my little brother and big brother all in one. He and I share a lot of fond memories growing up. We would often annoy our parents and Alison to no end with our brotherly mischief. These days, I would like to think we've toned it down a bit and grown into (hopefully) fine young men. I am glad to have him standing with me on this incredible day.

Alison Sapp

Bridesmaid

Alison is Ben’s little sister and has been a wonderful person to get to know as I have slowly integrated into her family. We have already shared so many wonderful memories over the years, from Christmas break vacations to a week in Italy that was life changing. She didn’t have to accept me as Ben’s girlfriend, so I share so much gratitude to her to have her by my side as I become Ben’s wife and we formally become sisters.

Joshua Melocoton

Groomsman

Josh has been a very close friend of Emily and I since we met in late 2019 at Ball State. Josh was one of the few to witness our blooming relationship and has been a constant ever since. From almost weekly get togethers at his campus house to excursions in downtown Chicago and beyond, Josh has been a wonderful friend to the pair of us and we are so lucky to have him here with us.

Grace Hardt

Bridesmaid

Grace and I met in 2016 over a shared love of Kpop. Since then, she and I have become inseparable, and you will rarely find us not texting, video calling, or attending a concert in Chicago together. Grace makes me laugh on the regular and the joy she has brought to my life cannot be understated. I feel so immensely lucky to have her in my life and by my side when I marry the love of my life.

Jimmy Torres

Groomsman

Jimmy and I met in band in middle school and grew as friends through our time at school. Logan, Jimmy and I grew close as seniors as we had class every day and band to fill the weekends and evenings. Even though we don't get to see each other as much, it never feels like we ever miss a beat. We always get back to our usual shenanigans. I am thankful to have him stand at my side on this important day.

Santana Walls

Bridesmaid

Santana and I met through work, where for the first year that I knew her, she was acting as my boss. Don’t worry, she and I were very professional on the job! However, our shared love of books and all things nerdy made it difficult to not quickly become friends. Santana was one of the first people I met upon moving to Northwest Indiana to pursue my Master’s degree and I don’t know how I would have done it without her humor and her kindness. I’m so excited to have her stand with me while I marry the love of my life.

Wesley Reeder

Groomsman

Wesley and I met through a mutual friend of a club I joined at Ball State. After meeting Wesley, our shared interest in video games made our friendship a great constant in my life. After moving to Northwest Indiana, it was great be able to spend time with a good friend even when I felt far away from everyone. I am excited to be able to have him stand with me like I did for him at his wedding.

Ashley Taylor

Bridesmaid

Ashley, Ben and I all met at Ball State. Ashley was one of the first to witness our blooming relationship and has been a dear friend to the pair of us ever since. She cried when we called her after formally getting engaged so it is no question why she stands with Ben and I on our special day (and in a very special way, too!)

Jacob Landes

Groomsman

Jake and I met in the dorms at Ball State and became one of my close friends when we became roommates with a few other guys at a house off-campus. Jake and I have grown so much since those college nights sitting in our friends dorm rooms on uncomfortable wooden chairs, but I would not be where I am without him. Emily and I are so happy to have him with us on our special day.
