We're Married, Let's Celebrate!

The story of Ben and Patricia started in January 2012 with a mutual love for mountains and the outdoors bringing them together on JMU's Ski and Snowboard Race Team. What started as just a freshman year extracurricular would end up leaving them with life-long friendships, incredible memories, and the gift of their better half. But first, the good Harrisonburg years would fly by all too fast. Graduation would bring new jobs and new cities, causing the pair to go their separate ways for a few years. All the while, neither really ever thought their story was over though, and absence made the heart grow fonder. Thanks to Ben's romantic persistence and close friends that kept their circles intertwined, the college sweethearts found their way back to one another. This time they knew it was forever.

On November 17, 2019 when Ben popped the question of "forever" to Patricia, October 17, 2020 was looking pretty great. 3 months into a global pandemic, June 27th 2020 looked even better. Covid-be-darned, the two threw caution to the wind and decided their married life together just couldn't wait. Ben and Patricia took to the altar sooner than they had planned with an intimate cathedral ceremony surrounded by close family who made their special day nothing short of a fairy tale. 1+ year later, they are absolutely thrilled to welcome their friends and family to celebrate their marriage in the mountains of Basye, VA where their love story first began!
