Things to Do at CHQ
Self-Guided Walk: Walking around the perimeter roads of CHQ is a 3 mile walk. Enjoy views of the lake, historic building & homes, and many, many gardens. If you find yourself in need of sustenance in between events, click on the "View" button below for a list of places to grab a bite or a drink at the Institution. If you are renting a house or condo and would like to stock up on groceries, the closest small grocery store is Lighthouse Point Grocery at 5262 West Lake Road in Mayville. About 10 minutes further is Tops Friendly Markets at 64 South Erie Street, Mayville, and Chautauqua Liquor & Wine at 17 South Erie Street, also in Mayville.
