Flight

Flying into Town?

If you're flying in from outside of CO, Montrose Airport is the easiest Airport to fly into. It's about an hour and 15 minutes from Telluride. The Telluride Express shuttle from Montrose to downtown Telluride/Mountain Village is $58. If you're taking Telluride Express from Montrose, you can receive 10% off their ground transportation by mentioning the Holland Crookston Wedding or simply using 17311 as a code when booking online. If you want to take the scenic route, the drive from Denver is one of the more beautiful 6 hour drives you can take in the US.

If you're looking for houses to rent, Airbnb and Latitude38 have great options. We'd encourage you to jump on these FAST as Telluride is a popular summer destination for much of the Southwest.

Travel Note

Driving from Denver

If you're driving from Denver, both routes are scenic, but the I-70 Route is a bit more predictable. 285 can get jammed up with traffic (mostly inbound Denver) and make a long drive, longer. If you're taking I-70, Palisades is a great halfway point for lunch. You can hit a winery and grab some vino from Colorado's wine country.

Getting Around Telluride

Getting around Telluride is a breeze once you're here. You can take the free Gondola from Mountain Village to downtown. If you don't want to bring a car, nearly everything is walkable from the Gondola. When we got engaged last Summer, we parked our car on Day One and didn't drive it again.

Wedding Ceremony Shuttle

August 23, 2019 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Shuttles will pick up at the entrance of the Peaks Resort starting at 4 PM sharp. The ceremony starts at 4:30, so please arrive early to be on one of the first rounds of shuttles.
