If you're looking for a traditional categorization, we'd recommend "cocktail". Suits and dresses would be lovely, but most of all dress in something festive that makes you feel fabulous. Also please note that the ceremony and dinner will mostly take place on a landscaped lawn, so keep that in mind while selecting footwear. We don't want damage done to the gorgeous venue or your swanky kicks!
We chose our date strategically, because in most years April tends to be in the 60s-80s, and we figured better to risk it being a bit chilly than sweltering. That being said, weather patterns have become less and less predictable (thanks, climate change!) so it could be a bit warmer and it could even drizzle. Please check the weather before packing and remember to bring a layer since our wedding will be mostly outdoors.
Nope! Dinner will be served family style, so you're off the hook! Just let us know about any dietary restrictions in advance when you RSVP so that we can make sure to accommodate you (for every course, that includes cake!). Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options will already be available, and all of our selections have been made to exclude tree nuts.
Absolutely! Provided that we know your kiddos, their names should be on your invitation as well. We've got several nieces, nephews, and little cousins ranging from under a year to teenaged, so yours would be in good company. That being said, their attendance is entirely up to you, because most of all we want to make sure that you have an amazing time at our party!
Honestly, it may just depend on how numbers shake out on our end, since our venue can only accommodate so many. Please contact us to discuss if there is someone specific you'd like to bring, but unfortunately we make no promises. Rest assured though, if you're invited some other people you know are too, and we'll do our best to make sure to introduce you to folks with whom we think you'll get along!
