The Ruby Brink
This is one of our all-time favorite restaurants. They focus on whole-animal butchery and have delicious craft cocktails. Their menu changes daily so make sure to visit their website to see what's cookin' that day. They have grab-and-go options available as well - perfect for a picnic!
MAY KITCHEN & BAR
Named one of the "38 Essential Restaurants in Seattle" by Eater, this is some of the best Thai food out there. Be sure to make a reservation to secure a table.
Pop Pop Bottle Shop
Drop by for a fun selection of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Vashon Island Farmers Market
The farmer's market is a short walk down the street from our venue. Be sure to visit on Saturday from 10am-3pm to pick up some local goods.
Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie
Great spot for coffee and tea. They give you a free cup of drip coffee if you buy a bag of coffee beans!
Wine and Cider Tasting
There are many options on the island. See the attached Seattle Times article for their recommendations.
Point Robinson Lighthouse
Visit the lighthouse, walk the beach, and catch a view of Mount Rainier. It's a lovely location for a picnic!
Oscar The Bird King
Visit one of the trolls in artist Thomas Dambo's installation series "Northwest Trolls: Way of the Bird King." The troll is located at Point Robinson Lighthouse so you can visit two landmarks at one time!
Maury Island Natural Area Loop
This is Brody's recommended thing to do on the island since we saw a lizard on the trail during a hike here (like he used to chase in Tucson). A local confirmed that lizards do live on the island (Ashley thought she was seeing things)!
KVI Beach
This is known as the local's beach and the best beach for building sand castles.
