We'll try our luck finding the "Big 5 of the African Sky" under the new moon with the help of a local astronomer and his telescope. The five celestial objects, representing "the best specimens of each type of deep-sky class," should be viewable in July, according to the Astronomical Society of Southern Africa.

Jembisa guests will be picked up from 8:30 a.m. for breakfast on the old airstrip.

We'll be outside, so keep your safari chic attire sensible.
Guests will be picked up from their rooms starting around 1 p.m. Have a drink and enjoy the scenery while you await the bride and groom!

Kick off the reception with cocktails and canapés while you wait for the bride and groom to return from their golden hour photo shoot.

For guests six and older who would like to try their luck at seeing the "Big 5" without a trip to Kruger, for around 1000 Rand per person (under $75), Jembisa will organize it for you. The three hour game drive is an hour and a half away. Ten people can fit in a truck.

The groom is working to plan a golfing day. If you would like to join, please bring your own golf shoes, and let us know if you'll need to rent clubs. Each golfer should expect to pay around 1000 Rand to play 18 holes and rent clubs. We will share more information on the cost, course, and transportation in due time.
