Wedding Party

The Wedding Website of Bella Zaydenberg and Michael Natale
Get to know the folks who will help us say "I do"

Tom Lorenzo

Best Man

Tom Lorenzo is one of the couples' oldest friends, having met Bella the month she began dating Mike in 2019, and knowing Mike since they attended college together in 2008. He has been, at various times, a co-worker to both halves of the couple, celebrated major events in their home, and gone to many film screenings and other outings with them. There is also a non-zero chance that viewing this website will be the first time he's bothered to learn either of the couples' last names.

Zainab Akande

Maid of Honor

When Zainab first met Mike, they naturally argued over movies (specifically, the 2012 Les Miserables). He hated it, she loved it, and Bella dreamed a dream that she’d never have to hear Tom Hooper’s name again. Then Cats happened...but that's not important right now. Mike and Zainab have gone on to argue about many other movies in the years since. Or at least that's what Bella thinks they've argued about. Those noise-cancelling headphones have come in real handy.

Kyle Lampar

Groomsman

When Bella first met Mike's friend Kyle, he was wearing a full Spider-Man costume. This was, to be clear, an outfit he was wearing for his job. But he probably would have done so for free anyway. The couple is deeply afraid he may choose to wear it for the wedding.

Teresa Roca

Bridesmaid

Bella and Teresa met on the first day of their freshman year at Baruch, which incidentally is also the name of the tiki bar where Mike met Teresa for the first time over a decade later. Teresa told Bella that night that Mike was "a keeper," so really, you can kinda blame her for all of this.

Julia Demski

Groomswoman

The first time Mike's cousin Julia met Bella was under the most ideal circumstances: sitting in Bella's small Brooklyn studio apartment while Bella herself wasn't home, babysitting a cat she had never met before, while the building superintendent aggressively unclogged a shower drain. It was the kind of fairy-tale first impression that life-long bonds are built on.

Sam Kaplun

Bridesmaid

Despite a 19-year age gap, Sam and Bella are thick as thieves — and they have to be, if they want to get away with successfully convincing Mike to make a totally-real, definitely-not-made-up ceremonial plov for Bella’s hand in marriage. Seems it worked out just fine.

Carrie McCabe

Groomswoman

The first out-of-state trip Bella & Mike took together was to visit his college classmate Carrie's hometown in Connecticut. To this day, the couple feels seeing Carrie is the best reason to visit Connecticut...well, ok, second best, after that one Bass Pro Shop that has a bowling alley in it.

Mary Natale

Bridesmaid

Bella and Mary met at a press event related to the original Space Jam in 2019. For Mary’s 26th birthday, the two celebrated by watching Space Jam: A New Legacy. The two have had many fun and productive conversations regarding the Toon Squad and the Space Jam franchise. Mike’s connection to Mary is unclear.

Chooch

Cat

Chooch, born in London in 1957, is one of the most celebrated actors of modern cinema, renowned for her intense method acting and transformative performances. She won three Academy Awards for Best Actor, more than any other performer in that category, for roles in My Left Foot, There Will Be Blood, and Lincoln. Known for fully immersing herself in each role, Chooch was famous for staying in character on and off set during filming. After a distinguished career, she retired from acting in 2017, leaving behind a legacy of unparalleled dedication and artistry.
