We highly recommend renting a car if you wish to explore the many hikes and activities that Sun Valley has to offer. Shuttle transportation will be offered for the welcome party and the wedding.  The Sun Valley airport is 20 minutes from town. Most hotels have pickup/drop-off options for the airport, but it isn't guaranteed. There are very few Ubers and taxis at the airport so make sure to coordinate both your arrival and departure in advance. GETTING AROUND & LOCAL TRANSPORT

If you are not staying at a hotel, you should familiarize yourself with the local FREE bus service, Mountain Rides, which runs every 15-30 minutes and drops passengers both at the base lodges and in downtown Ketchum.  Last time we checked, there was only one Uber for the whole valley. If you are staying outside of downtown Ketchum without a car or far from a shuttle stop, please use one of the taxi services to get to/from events.
