Maid of Honor
Jenna and I became very close quickly while working at DFAS, to the point that people thought we knew each other forever. She quickly became my sister from another mister. Through good and bad times, we have seen it all. She has become my person and my protector. The shenanigans have been very real. I would gladly go through it all again. Maybe even... Twice!
Best Man
Vince and I met at my favorite hole in the wall bar, while we were both bouncing there. He quickly became my right hand man, for any night time outings, fishing, and jokes. He spent many nights getting me to loosen up when I was burying myself in the school books. But our best accomplishment to date, was building a back deck on the old house while intoxicated. We some how managed to build it to code!
Bridesmaid
Ashley and I go waayyyyy back, like back when Will Smith was singing about Miami, and before low rider jeans were in fashion. Her sister Lindsay used to babysit my sister and I on a pretty regular basis. Now, Ashley and I didn’t hit it off right away, but that does seem to be a common theme in my life. Yet, those also seem to be some of the longest lasting relationships in my life. It wasn’t long though before her family and mine became close. Through thick and thin Ash has always been there. The amount of inside jokes are ridiculous. Like... GUM! I honestly don’t know how I would have gotten through some tough times without her or her family. She also has seen some of my most embarrassing moments and still loved me through them all. Love you Ash! So glad you are joining me on this day!
Groomsman
Tony and I met while I was enlisted in the Army. He joined 2-505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, Charlie Company, 2nd Platoon about two months after I did. We quickly realized we had the same sense of humor, watched the same shows on our down time, and spent much of our work time in the gym. We spent many a day BBQing, drinking and laughing together. Since then we have both left the Army to return to civilian life, but that has not slowed our friendship down in the slightest.
Bridesmaid
Once Krystal and I met, we quickly bonded over our roles as step-mommas. Krystal was one of the first friends I made in North Carolina and become my daily texting buddy. We are like two peas in a pod. Totally introverts who would love nothing more than to watch crime documentaries while cuddled up on the couch or in bed. <3
Groomsman
While bouncing at Pyrate's (my favorite hole in the wall) I met Bobby's wife Krystal. Krystal introduced me to her husband, who is an avid karaoke signer, and we immediately hit it off as two dad's who were adjusting back to the civilian life. Since that day he has become an Uncle to my boys, and I to his. We have shared laughs, hard-ships, birthdays, Christmas Eve dinners, and so many more amazing times.
Bridesmaid
Maria... sassy... I mean, sweet Maria. One of the first women I met when I moved to North Carolina. We quickly hit it off with our mutual love for Harry Potter and Halloween. To the point we spent our first time hanging out watching Hocus Pocus on Halloween night with candy and dirt pie! Some people never grow up and she really keeps me young. Be careful! This one will dance you into a stupor with her killer moves! I think my legs are still sore from that night out dancing!
Groomsman
Evan Robinson and I became best friends growing up in high school. Since I had just moved to the area, I had a difficult time adjusting to a small town. The foundation of our relationship was built on sarcasm and humor. I can still recall the countless late nights playing Gears of War and Guitar Hero together. (He was always better). Evan and I had different trajectories in life, separated by responsibilities and obligations that adulthood typically demanded. However, every so often, as any good friend would, Evan accepted the opportunity of becoming my groomsman to help celebrate a new chapter of my life.
