FAQs

Question

How can I get to the Chateau?

Answer

Taxis are readily available, as is Uber! Some people will likely rent cars so you may be able to organize rides back to Bordeaux after the wedding week - but this will largely be individually arranged (cut us some slack - we are getting married!)

Question

I need food/beverage X - where can I get this?

Answer

While there are no guarantees about what they do and do not have, there is a grocery store approximately 5 minutes away from the Chateau. Grocery stores in France sell liquor as well! We will try to pick up some essentials (such as coffee for the kitchens), but if there is something you need it may be worthwhile to pickup on your own. If you look at the schedule you will see that we have lots of food planned - but you can always go and explore on your own. Maybe not during the wedding day though...

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We are hoping that pretty much all events will be outside, but our wedding planner falls short of guaranteeing beautiful weather. Luckily we have contingency plans for all events - one of the benefits of having a smaller wedding!

Question

Should I bring a gift?

Answer

Cards are always welcome, but we ask that any bulky items be shipped to us directly. The gift registry on here will make things easy, but if you need our address to send anything else just let us know!
