Borderland State Park is Becca & Rob's favorite local spot for hiking. With a seemingly endless amount of trails from steep & rocky, to grasslands, to wooded trails among lush wetlands, we never get bored there. The park allows dogs on leash and boasts beautiful scenery in September. The parking cost is minimal and is payable by credit card.
Patriot Place is an open-air shopping center owned by The Kraft Group built around Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots and New England Revolution. https://www.patriot-place.com/
Providence is home to shopping, dining, architectural history, Brown University, and fun places to explore. Depending on the limitations related to the pandemic, Water Fire and the Roger Williams Park Zoo are two fun activities to look into during your visit. Providence is about a 30-minute drive from the venue & hotels.
Just 45 minutes from the venue & hotels, Boston boasts a variety of activities and neighborhoods to explore. You can't go wrong with a visit to the North End for Italian food, a walk around the Public Garden & Boston Commons or Charles River Esplanade for a more scenic route, a visit to Kenmore & Fenway area, or shopping and dining in Back Bay along Newbury & Boylston Street.
