11:30 am - 2:30 pm
We hope you'll join us for a special excursion in the Santa Barbara Channel to spot whales and dolphins. We recommend eating a nice breakfast ahead of the sail (to prevent seasickness), and we'll also have a tab open for drinks and snacks from the menu on board. Dress warm as ocean temperatures are typically 10-15 F degrees cooler than temps on land. There is an indoor seating space on the boat. Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are also recommended. Parking: There is a paid parking lot directly next to where the boat is boarded.
5:30 pm - 9:00 pm
California casual - khakis/dress jeans, button up shirt, sundress or blouse.
Family, friends and empanadas are a perfect way to start the weekend in The Funk Zone, Santa Barbara’s urban winery and brewery trail. The entry is on Yanonali Street next door to Test Pilot. Parking: We recommend taking an Uber or walking to this area. If you prefer to drive, paid parking is available at the Santa Barbara Train Station (209 State Street) and it is a 3 minute walk to the venue.
5:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Cocktail attire - jacket and dress pants (tie optional), semi-formal dress or jumpsuit.
Cocktail Hour | 5:30 PM Seated Dinner | 6:30PM Complimentary valet (including gratuity) is available. Inform the valet attendant that you’re attending the Samson & Koning reception. The cocktail site is on grass, so be mindful when picking out any high heeled shoes.
11:30 am - 2:00 pm
Casual - whatever makes you happy and relaxed.
A true Santa Barbara local’s spot to wrap up the weekend. Saying farewell seems a little bit easier when there’s a burger and a chocolate milkshake involved. Parking: There is a small parking lot and street parking is available. There is a larger lot directly across the street from Convivo (1118 E Cabrillo Blvd) and it is an 8 minute walk to The Habit.
