This event is casual, wear clothes/shoes you can comfortably move in if you plan to partake in pickleball!
This is one of our favorite places to spend a weekend afternoon. With pickleball courts, cornhole, board games, and hard ciders galore, it's the perfect place to connect with people. In fact, owners Julie and Vicki opened Second Summit in 2022 to create a gathering place where people could come together over shared interests. With this in mind, it seemed like the ideal venue for a welcome event, for people from all facets of our lives to come together, connect, and celebrate love. We'll have small bites available at the event, as well as an open bar. However, we recommend having dinner to fuel up for pickleball before you arrive, or grab a meal at the Happy Tummie food truck out front (https://www.happytummie.com/)! Unfortunately, Utah state law is working against true togetherness for this particular event; this facility is licensed as a bar meaning no one under the age of 21 is allowed to enter. Funky formal; think cocktail wedding attire meets vintage glamor. Fun prints, bold colors, and flashy accessories encouraged. If you think you're doing too much, it's probably just right.
Time to party! We're opting for a small courthouse ceremony on Friday; we'll spare you from watching the two of us stumble over our sappy vows. Instead, we're looking to share an evening of good food, fun memories, and a LOT of dancing. Dinner will be catered by one of our favorite local joints, Central 9th. The service will be family style; please let us know below if you would like to request a vegetarian option or if you have any other dietary restrictions. There is ample parking available at the venue, but we encourage opting for ride-share services if you plan to partake in the bar. Kiddos of all ages welcome! Please RSVP by 19 Sept 2024

You're welcome to keep the full glam going, but PJ's are equally acceptable. Bonus points for glam PJ's?
Here's the thing, Salt Lake is great for a lot of activities, but late-night revelry isn't really one of them. We have so many people we love coming from all over the country, and we just want to soak up every minute we can with y'all! If you've still got some party in ya, stop by our place after the reception for some casual beers, snacks, and of course, Hazel smooches.

We know Sunday will be a travel day for a lot of you, but if you have an hour or two to kill before you head to the airport, come by Liberty Park to say goodbye! This will be a very causal, stop by if/when you can situation. We won't be providing food or coffee (so grab that beforehand and bring it with you) but we will have chairs, blankets, and some good vibes. We've got some of our fave breakfast/coffee spots listed under the "Things to Do" section on our website. We love you all and we're sad you're leaving but we thank you so much for coming!!! We'll plan to set up in the northeast quadrant of the park under the trees just west of the sand volleyball courts.
