Question

What if I can't attend?

Answer

We completely understand that a destination wedding is a big ask, which is why this is a no-pressure event! While we’d love to celebrate with you, your support means the world to us no matter what. If you know you won’t be able to attend, we’d truly appreciate an early notice sent to baytaywedding2026@gmail.com so we can adjust our room block accommodations accordingly.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you didn’t receive a plus one but are in a relationship we may not be aware of, please don’t hesitate to reach out! We’d love to hear from you—just send us a note at baytaywedding2026@gmail.com so we can discuss.

Question

How do I RSVP & book my stay?

Answer

A detailed invitation will follow after you receive your Save the Dates. The formal invite will include RSVP instructions for the wedding day and any additional events, all accessible right here on our website. In the meantime, if you’re planning to join us, we encourage you to book your stay as soon as possible. For full details on how and when to reserve, please visit the “Travel” section of the site. Or contact our travel agent, Angie Anderson at RomanceTravelPlanner@gmail.com. Downloadable fact sheet can be found via this URL https://tinyurl.com/BayTayWedding.

Question

What is the code for the booking website?

Answer

Use code LOVE to enter the booking website. The link to the book can be found under the "Travel" section of this website.

Question

What do I need in order to travel to Mexico?

Answer

You will need an issued passport. Passports can be issued or renewed through your local Post Office or other approved locations in your area. It is not required that your passport be valid for 6 months past travel dates, but it is recommended that it be valid for at least 3 months.

Question

Can I stay less than 3 nights or more?

Answer

Unfortunately, you cannot stay less than 3 nights. This is a resort-enforced minimum. However, if you wish to stay longer you may, we encourage guests to make this a vacation for themselves! You can discuss your length of stay with our planner, Angie, when you go to put a deposit on your room. The deposit amount is the same no matter your length of stay.

Question

When is payment due & the final cancellation date?

Answer

A $150 per person deposit is required by September 1st, 2025 to reserve your room. The next payment—60% of your total room cost—is due by December 1st, 2025, with the remaining balance due 90 days before the event, on January 26th, 2026. If you need to cancel, please be sure to do so before the December 1st payment deadline, as no refunds will be issued after that date.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, this is an adults-only resort, and guests must be 18 or older to attend. We truly appreciate your understanding and completely recognize if this impacts your ability to join us.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding day, our dress code will be Tropical Chic. Think vibrant, colorful, and floral—embrace it all! Whether bold or understated, we want you to feel your best. We kindly ask that you avoid jeans. For inspiration, you can paste this link into your browser: https://pin.it/i6SASmb1p . For the welcome party, we are asking guests to wear all white.
