Known by Washingtonians as “Little Norway,” Poulsbo is a quaint town nestled along Liberty Bay on the Puget Sound. Its downtown is filled with charming shops and delicious treats! Both Brianna and Connor have connections to Nordic heritage, Brianna through her Finnish roots, and Connor through his Norwegian and Swedish roots. How special that we will be celebrating our wedding in a town with such strong ties to our shared heritage.
Sluys Poulsbo Bakery is a small, family-owned bakery in downtown Poulsbo, offering a variety of Scandinavian-inspired breads, donuts, and pastries.
Nordiska is a Nordic and Scandinavian-inspired gift shop featuring treats, art, and home goods. You can also find the work of one of Brianna’s favorite local artists, Anna Brones, featured here.
The Poulsbo Farmers Market is held every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM and features local produce, seafood, meat, baked goods, flowers, and live music!
